This week's PPA challenge is "anything but a card" I needed cute little bags for my nieces' Easter gifts.  I used the Pink Flamingo DSP since my nieces are in their teens.  I wish I could tell you what's in them but they might read this. Mojo 131 - Make a Wish!

I’m hosting a card class fundraiser for a local Relay for Life team in April. Relay for Life is a 24 hour walk that raises money for the American Cancer Society (ACS).  ACS's current slogan is “The Official Sponsor of Birthdays” and I thought it would be fun to do all birthday cards for the class.  Here is the first card, inspired by this week's Mojo sketch.  The class fee will go directly to the team.  It should be a great time!

If you would like to find out more about Relay for Life or the American Cancer Society go to cancer.org.

PPA34 -Way 2 Go!

M youngest brother is graduating from college this weekend!  Way 2 Go little bro!  I used this week's PPA sketch challenge to make a card to go with his graduation gift.  I used SAB products: Welcome Neighbor DSP and the sprinkles stamp set.  The "way 2 go!" stamp is from the occasions mini catalog level 1 hostess set.  I added a little card stock in kraft, so saffron, not quite navy & old olive some grosgrain stiped ribbon in old olive and 2 vintage brads and voila a happy and fresh graduation card.

Red Hat Workshop - So Fun!

Thursday night I had a workshop for a group of Red Hat ladies. A few of them have been to a couple classes and asked if we could make more than one card at the workshop and I said you bet! They requested that the cards be Red Hat themed. So I did a little research into the Red Hat Society and here are the 3 cards I created. PS: all the ladies had a great time and loved the real red and perfect plum themed cards.
